What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store, so the site can recognise the same browser later. They are used for things like keeping you signed in, remembering a language, or measuring and tracking visits. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and device fingerprinting.
Cookies on this site
globalstrandauas.cc sets no cookies of any kind: no session cookies, no preference cookies, no analytics and no advertising cookies. Because nothing is stored on your device that is not strictly necessary, we do not show a cookie banner, and you do not need to accept anything to use the site.
If that ever changes, for example if we add a booking calendar that needs a session, we will update this page before the change goes live and ask for consent where the law requires it.
Local storage and scripts
The site uses one small script of our own, served from our domain. It fades sections in as you scroll, switches the Stills, Film and Finishing panels on the home page, and changes the photograph next to the steps of our planning week. It does not write anything to your device, does not read anything from it beyond whether you have asked your system to reduce motion, and sends nothing anywhere.
The site works fully with JavaScript switched off; all panels are simply shown one after another.
Server logs
Like any web server, the one hosting this site records basic technical data for each request: IP address, date and time, the page or file requested, the response code, the referring page and the browser's user agent. These logs are used only to keep the site secure and working, are not combined with other data, are not used to identify visitors, and are deleted after no more than ninety days. Processing is described further in our privacy policy.
Third parties
There are no embedded maps, videos, social media buttons, fonts or scripts loaded from other companies. Every photograph, the stylesheet and the script are served from globalstrandauas.cc itself, so no third party learns that you visited.
Email and phone links
The "Send a brief" and "Book a recce" buttons open your own email program with our address filled in, and phone numbers open your phone app. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it, and what happens after that is covered by our privacy policy and by the terms of your own email or phone provider.
Controlling cookies
Although this site does not use cookies, you can control them for every site in your browser settings: block them entirely, clear them when you close the browser, or allow them only for sites you choose. Instructions are in the help pages of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and other browsers.
